Beet, Apple & Blackberry Puree


3 red beets, peeled, chopped and cooked
2 cups of blackberries
2 apples, peeled and chopped


Use precooked beets to save time on cooking.




Prepare the Ingredients: Wash, peel and cut the apples into small chunks. Rinse the blackberries. 

Pour 2 cups of water into a medium saucepan and boil the water. Place the beets, apples, and raspberries into a steam basket over the saucepan and cover it. Let it cook for 20 minutes. 

Peel the cooked beets and chop into small chunks. 

Add the beets, apples and blackberries into the blender and puree until it reaches a smooth consistency.

Strain the puree. Stir the puree with a whip while straining for until puree has been completely strained.
