GO Pasta Bowl
GO Pasta Bowl, Sports Kit Couscous, Almond, and Apricot Bowl
1/4 cup couscous
1 teaspoon dehydrated chicken broth
2 tablespoons skim milk powder
6 (40 g) dried apricots
3 tablespoons (45 mL) slivered almonds
1/4 cup boiling water
40 grams cheddar cheese
This meal would be complete in protein for an athlete meal by adding 40 grams of any type of hard cheese such as cheddar or mozzarella.
Mix all ingredients in a microwave safe container.
Add boiling water when meal is ready to be eaten and let the mixture sit 5 minutes before fluffing with a fork.
